ArtsLab’s Showcase
Tuesday 30 September 2025, 12 noon to 2 pm
in the ARC Atrium.
See what our ArtsLab Labs are up to – how you can engage, and how our Labs work as purposeful playgrounds for interdisciplinary research.
With a taster programme (ARC room 223):
- the Sustainable Futures Lab will present How to Blow Up a Powerpoint. At 12.30pm and 1.30pm, this 10 minute performance by PGR and actor Amanda Douge targets the rituals of corporate governance silencing the neoliberal academy from radical climate potentials and actions. With both satire and anarchy this work makes a 'theatre' of conventional academic spaces to posit the provocation, 'Why are we, who know so much, still in denial?'
- The Catalyst Lab will present its latest work in design-led futures thinking for Glasgow Changing Futures;
- The Games and Gaming Lab will be demonstrating its latest games and gaming projects.
Plus: Learn more about how ArtsLab supports your research with workshops and the Application Development Service for grant applications.
Team ArtsLab and the College Research Office will be there, so grab a coffee and grab a chat about you research ideas.
We look forward to seeing you there!
