Measuring the International Relevance and Cultural Inclusivity of your Course
This workshop introduces the Internationally Relevant Curriculum Scales (IRCS), a tool that enables us to systematically evaluate our course materials, teaching and classroom interactions for international relevance and cultural inclusivity. By using a simplified version of the tool interactively in the workshop, it will demonstrate how the data can be analysed and translated into actionable changes to our curriculum and practice. The workshop is open to all and will be particularly useful for academic and professional staff who teach international and/or diverse student cohorts.
