FinTech Bites: A Careers & Networking Event
Wednesday, 12 November, 12:30-14:00, Glasgow University Union, Dining Hall
Glasgow is a rising FinTech powerhouse, and our students are eager to explore the exciting opportunities this fast-growing sector has to offer. Following a successful year of piloting course specific careers and networking events, we are excited to introduce our next offering — FinTech Bites!
FinTech Bites is a targeted event designed to help actively recruiting FinTech companies — large or small — connect directly with emerging talent from across the University of Glasgow. Whether you're hiring for internships or graduate roles, this is your chance to share your story and meet students with sought-after skills in business, finance, tech, and data.
What to Expect as a Participating Employer:
- Deliver a five-minute talk (with slides) to a student audience, introducing your organisation (what makes you unique) and promote roles you're actively recruiting for.
- Benefit from shared promotion alongside 3–7 other FinTech employers, giving your company visibility as part of a highly marketed, well-attended event.
- Stay for lunch and informal networking: catering will be provided after the talks to facilitate relaxed conversations with students.
- Host a table at the side of the room where students can approach you with questions and learn more about your opportunities.
