Green Careers Fair
Wednesday, 24 September, 10:00-16:00, Glasgow University Union
The future is green, and yours could be too!
You’ve likely heard of “green jobs” and the “green transition”, but what do these terms really mean and how do they relate to your career journey?
In partnership with the Scottish Ecological Design Association (SEDA), we’re hosting the Green Careers Fair where students from Scottish universities can explore careers that support people and planet.
Green careers are for anyone, no matter what you study, so come discover what's possible for you...
We’re not just talking about ecologists and environmental engineers. Green careers include community renewable energy practitioners, hemp insulation manufacturers, green health prescribers and countless other roles. Connect with and learn from professionals working in these areas and beyond!
What to expect
- Network with over 40 ecologically driven organisations across a range of areas
- Discover a range of green career paths available to you
- Gain valuable insight at panel discussions covering key developments, challenges and opportunities in the green sector
