Part IV ...', (1845); sold for £0.1.0 according to the priced copy of the sale catalogue in University of Glasgow Library (shelfmark BD17-e.15). Francis Edwards, bookseller, London (firm founded 1855):  sold book to John Ferguson. John Ferguson (1837-1916), Professor of Chemistry, University of Glasgow:  Ferguson’s pencil acquisition note on front flyleaf “JF 4 Feb. 1916” together with his typographical note on the woodcut initial “D” which appears on 1/2r;  on rear free endpaper Ferguson’s pencil note of his source “F.
