College Librarians
College Librarians lead and manage the Library’s relationship with their Colleges, supporting teaching and research:
- Assisting staff in acquiring and using information resources and research tools to enhance research outputs
- Developing, evaluating, and promoting Library collections in partnership with stakeholders
- Collaborating with teaching and research staff and professional services staff to provide expertise in information literacy skills
- Sign posting to other key Library teams and services such as open access, research data management and Archives and Special Collections
- Advising on specialist queries on areas such as bibliometrics, evidence and systematic review and artificial intelligence discovery tools

Arts & Humanities
Richard Bapty
Richard supports staff and students in the Arts and Humanities with a wide range of activities, including information literacy training, help with literature reviews and advice on specialist resources for historians, philosophers and theologians.

Morag Greig
Morag supports staff and students in Arts and Humanities in making best use of Library resources and collections, both electronic and print. She works closely with other teams such as Archives and Special Collection and also run the Arts Library Associates programme.
Medical, Veterinary & Life Sciences
Paul Cannon
Paul collaborates with staff and research students across MVLS on advanced literature searching and identifying and enhancing research impact.
Social Sciences
Lynn Irvine
Lynn has expertise in information retrieval and provides tailored support in using specialist and multidisciplinary databases and diverse information sources across social science subjects. She collaborates with research students and staff to develop search strategies and protocols for evidence based reviews including systematic reviews and types of rapid evidence review.

Michelle O'Hara
Michelle is the College Librarian for Computing Science, Engineering, Physics & Astronomy. She is also the College Librarian for Scholarly Communications.
