Horizon Europe Hour - Financial Basics (14 May 2025)
Innovate UK will host a Horizon Europe Hour webinar providing an informal discussion and an opportunity to put your questions directly to the experts on Horizon Europe. Everyone is welcome, whether you are new to Horizon Europe or if you have experience in past projects. There will be a short presentation from the expert followed by a Q&A where the participants can ask questions they might have or advice on best practice.

The UofG, in collaboration with Scottish Enterprise, Innovate UK, the Scottish Government, and the Department for Science Innovation and Technology (DSIT) put on an exciting in-person networking and information event to promote the collaborative research and innovation opportunities that Horizon Europe has to offer. Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Networks Information Session (17th June 2025)
Join the UofG Overseas Team to learn more about Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Networks.
The online session will be held on Tuesday 17th June 2025 at 10.00 - 11.00am UK time. Registration is now open!
Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) are the European Union’s flagship funding programme for doctoral education and postdoctoral training of researchers.
The objective of Doctoral Networks is to implement doctoral programmes by partnerships of organisations from different sectors across Europe and beyond to train highly skilled doctoral candidates, stimulate their creativity, enhance their innovation capacities and boost their employability in the long-term.
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Networks call will open on 28th May 2025.

Horizon Europe Funding Information Session (20 Feb 2025)
The UofG Overseas Team supports your engagement in EU-funded research and innovation programmes, providing hands-on support for funding applications and awards, post-award financial reporting and project management.
Horizon Europe is the EU’s research and innovation funding programme. It is fully open to UK researchers once again, which means UK researchers can participate on equal terms with those in EU member countries. This online session will highlight the available funding opportunities through Horizon Europe and outline the support provided by this team.

Horizon Association Information Session (15 Dec 2023)
From the 1st January 2024, Horizon Europe - the EU’s research and innovation funding programme, is now fully open to UK researchers once again, meaning full and equal participation to those in EU member countries.
The Overseas Team recently delivered two online information sessions for all staff, researchers, academics and professional services staff who want to learn more about UK participation in Horizon Europe and what UK Associations means.

Gain insights into how to become an expert and use your unique skills to evaluate and monitor proposals and projects. European Commission needs experts for:
- Assessing applications for EU funding (including prizes and tenders),
- Monitoring of EU funded projects and contracts,
- Giving your advice on specific issues.
