UPCOMING EVENTS:
- Embedding Impact 'drop-in' workshop series: November 5th, November 19th and December 3rd (2025) from 12.00-13.30. Meeting online, hosted by SPRE (Scottish Policy and Research Exchange). (All SPRE events are open to UofG staff and students.) These workshops are for researchers, knowledge exchange and impact practitioners, programme leads and decision-makers to learn about the many different ways research impact is understood and -- most importantly -- how it is embedded in day-to-day practice. Our aim is to create a space for professionals working across different points of an impact cycle to come together and share learning. Each workshop will include guest speakers who have deep experience with embedding research impact. For more information, please follow the link and register here via typeform.
- In-person workshop for ECRs: Doing policy-relevant research and having an impact. 19th November 2025, 11:00-16:00 hosted by SPRE. (All SPRE events are open to UofG staff and students.) Venue: University of Strathclyde Business School. This workshop aims to provide essential understanding, strategies, and resources to support equitable and effective research-policy engagement. Places are limited and will be priorities for members of the Academy of Marketing and marketing researchers more broadly, but early career researchers from any field are welcome to apply.
