Biological and Genetic Modification safety training
The Biological and Genetic Modification course is designed for staff and research students working with biological agents or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). This interactive 3.5-hour session will go over the basics and equip delegates with essential knowledge on:
- Legal responsibilities for handling biological materials and GMOs
- Understanding the risks associated with biological agents and GMOs
- Conducting effective risk assessments and implementing control measures
- Licensing and authorisations required for work with biological agents and GMOs
- Security aspects related to work with biological agents and GMOs
