Your campus card is your key to University life. It gives you access to:
- the library
- sports facilities
- student discounts in a wide variety of shops, bars, cinemas and online
How to Get Your Campus Card
Before you can receive your card, make sure you've completed:
- Academic Registration
- Visa Registration (for international students)
- Photo Upload- A passport-style photograph is needed for your card. You can upload it during Academic Registration or later via MyCampus Student Centre > Personal Information > Photographs.

You can request a replacement if your card is:
When and How You'll Get Your Card
PGDE Students (Education Primary or Secondary, including Dumfries campus)
- Card posted to your term address from 11 August
Access & Short Courses
- Card posted to your home address from 3 September
Online Courses
- Card posted to your home address from 3 September
Dumfries Campus
- All students can collect their campus cards from the Student and Academic Operations team based in the School Office of the Rutherford McCowan Building from 15 September
International Students (Student Visa holders and non UK nationals)
- Receive your card at your Visa Registration appointment
- Appointments will take place from 9 September, Fraser Building (Level 3)
- Book from 18 August here.
All other students

Any uncollected campus cards will be available for collection from the SSET desk in the Fraser Building during normal opening hours.
- Please ensure you complete Academic Registration and have uploaded a photo BEFORE collecting your card!
Identification for examinations
Please note the following University regulation on identification for examinations.
Every candidate shall display for the invigilator's inspection a valid Student ID card or other form of photographic identification.
While a campus card is preferable in this instance, it is not essential if you have another form of photographic identification - for example, a drivers licence or passport. Please do not cause yourself unnecessary stress by rushing to procure a replacement campus card prior to your examinations.
