Glasgow Virology Workshop

The Glasgow Virology Workshop (GVW) is a premier one-day conference bringing together the UK's virology community, from undergraduate students to leading researchers. Now in its 27th year, this successful annual event attracts approximately 200 participants and has become a cornerstone of UK microbiology research.

The 27th Glasgow Virology Workshop is scheduled for Friday the 5th of September 2025, at the Hunter Halls, University of Glasgow.

The registration fee is £90; a reduced price of £45 for students including PhD students. This one-day workshop is an informal and friendly event with ample time for interactive discussion throughout the day, with a wine reception.
