Alumni Discount

To recognise our returning University of Glasgow graduates, we are pleased to offer a 20% tuition fee discount to eligible self-funded alumni starting a Postgraduate Taught (PGT) Masters or Postgraduate Research (PGR) programme in the 2026/27 academic year.

You must have:

• Graduated from the University of Glasgow, OR
• Completed a Study Abroad, International Summer School, or Erasmus exchange programme at the University of Glasgow

Note that Students who studied with the University of Glasgow via an external institution or partner, such as affiliate or joint degree programmes are not eligible

You must be:

• Enrolled full-time or part-time on a full Postgraduate Taught Masters or Postgraduate Research programme at the University of Glasgow

Note that the below programmes will not be eligible for the discount

• Diploma and Certificate courses, including Diploma in Professional Legal Practice
• Professional development programmes, including CPD and PGDE
• International Master’s and Erasmus Mundus programmes
• Online/ distance learning programmes

Important Additional Information

• The discount is available to self-funded students only.
• It cannot be combined with a partnership discount.
• It can be combined with most other University scholarships, except for those that cover 100% of tuition fees.

How to apply

For PGT programmes

The discount is applied at registration. No additional application is required.

Alumni discount appeals can only be assessed until January of that academic year. For academic session 2026/27 any alumni discount appeals will be assessed up to 31 January 2027. Any requests made after this date cannot be considered.
