Adebusola’s research explores public health data ecosystem and its relationship to anti-racism.
Adebusola Ramsay has over two decades of experience working in public health data, developing visual art practice and engaging with the histories of chattel slavery, colonisation and race ideology. As we are in the age of data as a commodity, and with growing evidence and awareness of systemic harm and racism.
Her research explores the public health data ecosystem and its relationship to anti-racism. Using co-design as a framework and centring an ethics of care, it explores how to co-create with racially minoritised people. This interdisciplinary approach builds through Black radical feminist philosophies.
