We are pleased to announce that applications for academic year 2025-26 are now open!

Theology and Religious Studies at Glasgow has a number of bursaries and funds which we use to offer full or partial fee waivers to postgraduate research students in Theology and Religious Studies (masters and PhD) at the University of Glasgow. The bursaries are available to those who intend to undertake postgraduate study at the University of the Glasgow. You can apply for a bursary at the same time that you apply for the degree.

Deadline for applications: Thursday 15 May 2025 at 12.00PM

Please submit your TRS Application Form 2025-2026 electronically (with a typed signature) together with your CV to critstudies-pgscholarships@glasgow.ac.uk with the subject line “YOUR NAME - TRS Bursary Application”.

Please also ask one of your academic referees (or your supervisor if you are already a graduate student) to submit a brief reference in support of your application to the same e-mail address.

A number of graduate bursaries for research degrees (MPhil/PhD) in the subject-area of Scottish Literature are available to be applied for towards the next academic year 2025-26.
