This study aims to explore women’s preferences, experiences, and perceptions regarding weight management strategies during the interpregnancy period, with a particular focus on how personal, social, and structural factors influence these.

It aims to understand the knowledge, beliefs, and attitudes women hold about obesity and its potential health implications between pregnancies. The study will also examine how experiences from previous pregnancies, including weight gain or loss, shape their current approach to weight management.

Researchers are looking for women to complete a survey and/or interview who meet the inclusion criteria:

  • Residing in the UK
  • Aged between 18 and 49 years old
  • Had at least one pregnancy
  • Speak English sufficiently to understand and respond to survey questions accurately
  • Willing to participate in the study and give consent

The survey closes on 31st December 2025.

Participants will be invited to enter a free prize draw on completing the questionnaire for a chance to win £50 for every 50 entries. Those who participate in the interview will receive a £10 shopping voucher as a thank you.
