The Scottish Archaeological Forum (SAF) is pleased to announce that tickets are now on sale for its 2025 conference, Building Bridges: Connecting Scotland’s Archaeological Community, taking place on 25–26 October 2025 at Nicolson Square Venues, Edinburgh.

This year’s conference aims to foster a joint discussion on how we can bridge disciplinary gaps and build the future of Scottish archaeology together. The event will bring together researchers, practitioners, and community partners for two days of talks, discussion, and networking, with in-person and online attendance options available.

Thanks to generous support from SAF’s sponsors, tickets are available at a subsidised rate:

  • General admission: £25
  • Concession (students/unwaged): £15
  • Online attendance: £10

In-person tickets include lunch and refreshments on both days, and access to the conference wine reception, kindly sponsored by AOC Archaeology.

The conference is open to all, and offers an excellent platform for postgraduate researchers, early career academics, and practitioners to share their work and connect with others in the field.

To support broader participation, a number of bursaries will be made available on the SAF website in due course.

The full programme will feature a wide range of paper and poster presentations. Tickets, programme details, and further information can be found on the SAF website: www.scotarchforum.com/saf2025
