School of Mathematics & Statistics

 

The Maths & Stats Hub is a drop-in help room and study space run by our School, designed for all pre-honours students across every Mathematics and Statistics degree. Level 1 and Level 2 lecturers hold regular office hours at the Hub alongside postgraduate tutors, ensuring students have access to plenty of academic support. No appointments are needed, and students are welcome to attend any or all sessions each week, staying for as long as they need. The Hub also provides a great opportunity to meet and connect with other students on the same courses, often leading to the formation of informal study and friendship groups, making it a welcoming and collaborative environment for everyone.
