The new research cluster "Elections, Public Opinion, and Parties" (EPOP) organised a one-day workshop on 6th June, which was attended by more than 30 people.
The event featured nine presentations by colleagues from across the Division of Political and International Studies. We were particularly pleased to welcome three external speakers - Maria Sobolewska (University of Manchester), Grigore Pop-Eleches (Princeton University), and Nick Vivyan (Durham University) - as well as two colleagues from the University of Strathclyde, Dr Stefanie Reher and Professor Bob Mattes.
At the workshop, we discussed cutting-edge research on racism, political behaviour, propaganda and social media, support for Ukraine, political nostalgia, and cultural clashes. See the programme for more details.
The new cluster is co-led by Professors Anja Neundorf and Christopher Claassen.
