SPS Buddy Programme
Applications are currently closed but check back here next year
The SPS Buddy Programme is a peer mentoring programme for commuting and mature students within SPS. It connects newer commuting and mature students with more experienced ones to share knowledge, build a sense of community, and help everyone feel more at home.
Current mature and/or commuting students who have completed at least one year of undergraduate study at UofG and are enrolled for a full academic year can apply to become a mentor, or ‘Big Buddy’. Applications are currently closed, but check back next year for the next opportunity to take part in the Buddy Programme.
Big Buddies will be matched with new Level 1 undergraduate students, or ‘Wee Buddies’. The aim is to offer informal peer support, build community, and ease the transition into university life for those commuting or starting as a mature student.
And for everyone, both Big and Wee, the Buddy Programme is a great opportunity to make new friends, find new coffee spots, and have fun!
Applications are currently closed for Big and Wee Buddies.
