The School of Social & Environmental Sustainability at the Dumfries Campus has undertaken innovative, cross-disciplinary research and teaching for 20 years.
As well as offering stunning scenery and recreation, the local landscape, attractions and heritage in Dumfries are an important real-life laboratory for teaching and research. Conservation, tourism and community projects are all important to the region, culture and economy.
