Scholarship gifts are transformative. Chloe shares with us the impact that scholarship support from a legacy gift had on her time as a student at the University of Glasgow.
A gift in your Will can change the world
At Glasgow we believe in the power of education to transform young people’s lives and we’re committed to removing the financial barriers that may prevent dreams from being fulfilled and potential from being realised. Gifts in Wills play a key part in changing lives far into the future. Through supporting student scholarships in your Will, you can help tackle educational inequalities and can have a transformative effect not only on individual recipients, but on every life they go on to touch after university.
Chloe would not have been able to pursue her studies without the support offered though her scholarship, she was supported by a gift from Noreen Scobie (MA 1949). Noreen left a legacy 'for the purpose of assisting students' which supported projects across the University including a scholarship fund in memory of Noreen and her husband Peter. For Chloe, the support of a scholarship made student life feel safe and abundant. Hear more from Chloe by watching the video below.
