A gift in your Will can change the world

At Glasgow we believe in the power of education to transform young people’s lives and we’re committed to removing the financial barriers that may prevent dreams from being fulfilled and potential from being realised. Gifts in Wills play a key part in changing lives far into the future. Through supporting student scholarships in your Will, you can help tackle educational inequalities and can have a transformative effect not only on individual recipients, but on every life they go on to touch after university.

Chloe would not have been able to pursue her studies without the support offered though her scholarship, she was supported by a gift from Noreen Scobie (MA 1949). Noreen left a legacy 'for the purpose of assisting students' which supported projects across the University including a scholarship fund in memory of Noreen and her husband Peter. For Chloe, the support of a scholarship made student life feel safe and abundant. Hear more from Chloe by watching the video below.

"The University of Glasgow has been pivotal to my career and the development of my life. Going to university gave me the skills I need to make an impact and hopefully change the future" - Chloe, MSc (2021), Assistant Environmental Impact Assessment Consultant, Natural Power
